CHEMICAL AND PETROLEUM ENGINEERING (CPE)

About ENG

Vision

The mission of the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering is to be a leading institution of reference in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate education, research and professional training in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering studies particularly to the west and central African sub regions.

Mission

The department aims at training students to meet the growing need of quality personnel in the Chemical and Petroleum sector with the capability to transform local resources.
The main objective is to train engineers capable of planning, managing and directing plants and processes in different sectors of the processing industry through basic, transversal and specific skills. The fundamental disciplines are common for the two curricula Chemical and Petroleum, which differ only in third year training.
