At the University of Buea (UB), we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. As part of this commitment, we take great care in verifying the credentials of our students, faculty, and staff.

We work closely with a network of trusted local and international partners to ensure a smooth and efficient verification process. This allows us to authenticate documents from a wide range of educational institutions worldwide, providing you with confidence in the legitimacy of your credentials.

You shall be required to pay a fee, for the verification of student credentials as from the 1st of May 2019, as follows:

Individuals & Local Private Institutions

   Fee of 5,000 FCFA and a waiting time of 72 hours

Foreign Institutions

   Fee of 25,000 FCFA and a waiting time of 72 hours

Mode of Payment

Payment shall be done by any of the following means:

   At the Receipt Control Office of the University of Buea against a receipt

   Express Union, MTN Mobile Money, ECOBANK, UBA VISA and Master Card on the University of Buea Online Portal.

Mode of Action

   For institutions or individuals who choose to use the online portal, a complete request shall comprise a completed form, obtainable from the University of Buea online portal and an attachment made up of the document(s) to be verified.

   For those who choose to make their request manually, a complete request shall comprise a completed form, obtainable from the University of Buea Receipt Control Office, an attachment made up of the document(s) to be verified, and a receipt of payment of the appropriate fee. The complete file shall then be deposited at the Mail Office, Room 116, Central Administration of the University of Buea.

   Upon confirmation of the payment by authorities of the University, you shall be notified electronically, after which you will receive a response to your request within three working days (72 hours).

   Incomplete requests shall not be treated.
