UB Gets New Principal Officers.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea has called on University staff to be dedicated in the execution of their duties in order to maintain the standards of UB. This was during the official installation of some senior officials who were appointed by Presidential Decree on 20th August 2021. They include:
– Professor Moukengue Imano Adolphe (Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Internal Control and Evaluation)
– Professor Bechem nee Eneke Esoeyang Tambe (Registrar)
– Professor Egbe Enow Andew (Director of Academic Affairs) and
– Professor Endeley Margaret Nalova (Dean of the Faculty of Education).
While installing the new appointees, Professor Ngomo reiterated that the government has made enormous contributions to expand the University of Buea so that it can accommodate the increasing demands from those seeking admissions and various partnerships. Secondly, that the quality of teaching, research and outreach
activities is a reflection of the standards that the University has built over the years. Therefore they are called upon to consolidate these standards by their services to the institution.
He thanked the outgoing officials (notably Professors Samuel Ayonghe, Ernest Molua and Pius Mbu Oben) for their years of loyalty to UB but that UB will continue to seek their expertise when the need arises.
It should be noted that Professor Bechem Eneke is the first female Registrar of UB. She was among the first batch of students admitted into UB in 1993.
Congratulations to all the newly installed!
