UB gets Quadruplets
The University of Buea has signed partnerships with four private Higher Education Institutions for mentorship. The signing ceremony took place in the Boardroom of the Central Administration on Wednesday, 20 November 2019. The four institutions are:
– The Chartered Institute of Technology and Management, Buea, (CHITECHMA)
– Institut Superieur des Sciences et Technique de la Sante (ISSTSM), Garoua
– Institut Superier de Technology le Bon Berger, (ISTBER), Yaounde
– Institut Superieur Polytechnique de Bonsoa (ISPB), Bansoa
In his opening remarks, the Vice-Chancellor appreciated the institutions for the confidence they have in the University of Buea and reminded them of their responsibility to uphold the standards of the University, while pledging the support of the University of Buea to the endeavors of the various institutions in the common goal of training young Cameroonians. The Vice-Chancellor reminded them that they are sharing and benefiting from the label that UB has built over the years and should therefore take the commitment to uphold it.
The various institutions on their part cited the performance of UB products in the job market, the seriousness, efficacy, academic prowess and rigorous nature of UB in ensuring the quality of its programmes, as reasons why they chose the University of Buea as their mentor.
