Ready…Set…Go…
Freshmen of the University of Buea have been orientated on issues bordering on their stay at the University. For three days, the over 8500 admitted freshmen for the 2019/2020 academic year have been educated on issues concerning the registration process, health issues, expected academic behavior, procedures for student complaints, communication platforms,  issues of housing and feeding on and off campus, setting goals for personal development and the significance of Matriculation in the Anglo-Saxon university system.
The event which took place at the Dorothy Limunga Njeuma Amphitheatre of the university was a unique occasion for the eager freshmen to discover the talents of their peers in the display of cultural dances and animation by the UB Fans Club, choral music by the University of Buea Choir and ballet dance by the Ballet Club. The enthusiastic students were given the opportunity to ask questions and get clarification on all their concerns.
With the orientation exercise completed, the students have hit the road to lecture halls to begin another phase of their academic journey.
