Secretary of State in the Ministry of Public Health Visits UB

As part of his visit to the South West Region to evaluate the preparedness and response to the measures to prevent COVID-19,  H.E. Alim Hayatou, Secretary of State for Epidemics and Pandemics in the Ministry of Public Health visited the Laboratory for Emerging Infectious Diseases at the University of Buea.

The laboratory is amongst the laboratories designated to help in the diagnosing of COVID19.

The Secretary of State was impressed with the  setup and the level of preparedness as well as the capacity of the staff involved in the process.

He was received in UB by the Vice-Chancellor and his collaborators.
