The College of Technology of the University of Buea in partnership with Africa Loss Prevention Society (ALPS) is lunching the first phase of Training of World Class Engineering Technicians (TWCET), with the qualification standard for distribution Linemen. The World Class qualification standard obtained from the State Department of Energy, USA will involve skills such as Underground Cabling and Safety at Height.
Trainees will be 90% guaranteed of a job since utility companies are in dire-need of such
skills. The training comprises Level 1 and 2 and the duration of training is twelve months per level. Application forms can be obtained from the Secretariat of the College of Technology.
